Health Local Law Review

Currently the Shire of Koorda is undertaking a review of its Health Local Law, and the community is encouraged to participate. The purpose of the Health Local Law is to set the requirements and penalties for various matters including provision of sanitation, pest control, water supply and disposal of food and waste for types of buildings and uses. The community will have six weeks – up until Monday 6 July – to make submissions for Council to consider.  As such a copy of the Health Local Law can be viewed at the shire office at 10 Haig Street between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and on the shire website at www.koorda.wa.gov.au/council/local-law.aspx
