Nominations are called for the Shire of Koorda Local Government Elections to be held on October 21st 2017 at the Shire Of Koorda Council Chambers, corner of Allenby & Haig Streets, Koorda.
There are currently 3 Vacancies each with a four year term. Nominations open on Thursday 7th September 2017 and must be lodged by 4.00pm Thursday 14th September.
All nominations are to be lodged with the Returning Officer any time during the above mentioned period with the following nomination requirements;
- A completed nomination in the prescribed form, signed and witnessed. This form is available from the Shire of Koorda Office
- A single A4 profile containing not more than 150 words of biographical information about the Proposed Candidate and statements of the candidates policies and beliefs.
- A nomination deposit of $80 Cash, Bank Cheque or Money Order
- A recent passport sized photograph (Optional)
Please Note : No Personal Cheques accepted and Nominations without the deposit will not be accepted.
Where an agent lodges a nomination on a candidates behalf it must be in the prescribed form with a written authorisation signed by the candidate.

- Faxed
