KOORDA RUBBISH DUMP SURVEY

The Shire of Koorda Council has endorsed a plan for improvements to the rubbish dump on Cadoux-Koorda Road. The first stage will involve fencing the site to help reduce rubbish from escaping and to better control access. There is a concern that currently the dump is used by non-Shire residents at the cost to local ratepayers. Later stages are proposed to have staff stationed at the site to direct and assist residents and, if progressed, a final stage would have the construction of a waste transfer station to better separate rubbish and help extend the useful life of the dump.

To help in the planning of the changes the Shire would like to know your thoughts.
