There are a number of sporting clubs in the Koorda area and they link in and play with and against other towns in the region.

Golf Association

Sunday is the Social Club day starting at 12 noon. Ladies Pennants Day is held on Tuesdays. The Club also holds various tournaments throughout the season.

Basketball Association

Koorda's Basketball club is strong with Junior's, Men's and Women's teams that all play on a Wednesday. The season starts in October and finishes in March.

Koorda Cricket Club

The Koorda Cobra's play on Saturdays in the Central Wheatbelt Association from October to March. Training is held on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Rifle Club

The Rifle range is situated off the Dowerin Koorda road. Shooting starts in March and continues until October, every Sunday at 1:30pm. Club and Interclub competitions are available.

Pistol Shooting Club

The Pistol Club is approximately 10km along the Koorda to Mollerin Road. Sessions take place every second and fourth Sunday in the month at 2:00pm.

Football Club

The Koorda Kangas - Central Wheatbelt Association

Games are played on Saturdays. Juniors 1:00pm-2:15pm, Seniors 2:15pm-5:00pm. Season commences end of April and lasts through to early September.

Koorda Darts Club

Womens darts are held every Tuesday at 7.00pm and Mens darts held every Wednesday night at 7:30pm at the Bowling Club and the Koorda Hotel. Mixed teams of 6 are played. There are also doubles and singles competitions. The seaon is May - September.

Tennis Association

Badgerin Tennis Club

The Badgerin Tennis Club meets every Sunday at 2:00pm from October to April for social games.

Koorda Tennis Club

Koorda Tennis Club have the same season as the Badgerin Club and also meet on Sunday with a 2:30pm start. Social and interclub competitions. Ladies Penants days are on Tuesdays, Association Mixed Penants on Saturdays and Junior Coaching on Sunday morning.

Koorda Swimming Club

Located in the center of town adjacent to the Koorda Shire Office. The pool usually opens between mid October and April with the swimming club following suit. Competition swimming, held on Sunday mornings, is between club members. The Club has over 50 members so it is an exciting meet.

Bowling Association

Situated in Greenham Street. Starts October and lasts through to April with a licenced members club available. Pennants are on Saturdays at 2:00pm and Competitions are on Sundays.
Mixed and Social games are played at 1:30pm.
Ladies also play on a Wednesday for mid-week penants with a 9:30am start.

Music & Dramatic Club

This is not a sporting club as such but with the enthusiasm that this group put into their club it may as well be a sport. The members put on various performances throughout the year and have had great success. Their club rooms are on Ninghan Street. Some performances are put on there and others in the larger Town Hall depending upon the production.

Hockey Club

The Koorda Ladies Hockey Club play Saturdays at 1:30pm, with the same fixtures as the football club from April to September.

Netball Club

The Koorda Netball Club plays on Saturdays at 12:00 noon. Fixtures are the same as the football club. Junior Netballers play at 1.30pm
